Compliance & Player Safety

Our approach to youth-sports safety, waivers, and consent. Last updated August 2026.

Player safety posture

ZKickoff supports organizers who operate under governing-body rules (e.g. US Youth Soccer, US Club Soccer, state associations) and abuse-prevention standards such as SafeSport. Organizations remain responsible for their own compliance with the bodies that sanction their events.

Waivers & consent (roadmap)

A digital consent-forms and e-signature system is in active development. It will let organizers collect and track medical release & liability waivers, concussion and sudden-cardiac-arrest acknowledgments, photo/video releases, codes of conduct, and tournament-specific forms (guest-player consent, travel permission) — and block a player from a game roster until required forms are signed.

Until that ships, ZKickoff does not itself collect or store these signed waivers; organizers continue to manage them through their existing process.

Data protection for minors

Roster data, including any minors’ information, is scoped to the organization that entered it and used only to operate the event. See our Privacy Policy for details.
